Arrive with the little ones—and not have to do a thing.
Quiet, stylish apartments in St. Anton am Arlberg, each with its own Finnish sauna and fully equipped kitchen. More space for good times with three or four people—at your own pace.
For peaceful days
with a small child
Omaela isn’t a hotel with an entertainment program—and that’s by design. Here, you’ll have your own apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, a private sauna, and exactly the peace and quiet you need for a vacation with a baby or toddler. Cook your own meals while your little one sleeps. Relax in the sauna as the day winds down. Start your morning whenever you like—without a set breakfast time or any hustle and bustle.
We’re designed for couples with children and small families who want to set their own pace. We’re deliberately not the right place for large groups that need multiple apartments. Here, it’s all about peaceful days for two, three, or four.
Time

The Perfect Apartment for Your Family
Three of our four apartments are ideal for vacations with children—from couples with a baby to slightly larger small families. All feature a fully equipped kitchen, a private Finnish sauna, and a peaceful location that makes all the difference.
Apartment #3: If you're looking for something a little more
93 m², two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private wellness area with a sauna, shower, and cabaña, plus a large terrace. Perfect for a slightly larger small family—or when grandparents, extended family, or friends come along and everyone wants their own space.
Traveling with Kids — At Your Own Pace
The Arlberg in summer is perfect for families who prefer a laid-back atmosphere. A few trails we love to hike with our kids:
The fabulous Verwall: perfect for family walks in both summer and winter. The Wagnerhütte offers great food and ice cream, and at Verwallsee there’s a fantastic playground where kids can run around and have even more fun.
The Mutspurenweg trail on the Galzig: take the Galzigbahn up, then follow a themed trail that gives kids plenty to discover along the way.
The Mösli in Flirsch: accessible by car or e-bike, with a little stream for playing and a small lake—ideal for a quiet family day.
The Schnanner Klamm: an impressive gorge hike for slightly older children.
And for hot days: a mountain lake for splashing around—a chance to cool off is never far away.
Practical tips for your trip: We’ll provide you with the free Basic Mobility Card—it lets you travel comfortably by bus throughout the region and includes a guided hike. If you’d like to use the mountain railways and the swimming pool, you can upgrade to the Premium Summer Card on-site during the summer.
What Makes Your Stay with a Child Easy
We’re happy to provide a crib and high chair—just let us know when you make your reservation. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook your favorite meals yourself or prepare a bottle whenever you need to.
Upon request, you’ll receive fresh rolls from Ruetz Bakery in a linen bag delivered to your door in the morning—no breakfast room, no set times, and no one waiting. And because each apartment is private, you’ll have the peace and quiet that a nap sometimes requires.
Your Hosts
Behind Omaela are Lisa and Martin—parents of Vito and little Carla. We know firsthand what a vacation with a child is really like, and we’ve designed the house to suit that: simple, quiet, with everything you need, and without any fuss.
