Arlberg Kandahar Race 2023

The last races were held here in 2021, and now we're delighted that the ski circus is once again a guest in St. Anton am Arlberg. The conditions are perfect: fresh snow, a superb piste and highly motivated female athletes hurtling down the Karl Schranz course, with its infamous ice fall, at over 120 km/h. 

We have the greatest respect for the courage of the world's best female skiers as they duel on this course. We wish everyone a great, successful and, above all, injury-free race weekend in St. Anton am Arlberg. For all spectators and ski fans live on site or in front of screens around the world, we hope for thrilling, gripping ski races.  

And what is Oma Ela up to?

Our Oma Ela, by the way, watches every race live right from her "Haus am Fang", which sits right next to the Karl Schranz finish stadium. And we at the Omaela Apartments aren't far from it either: take the Nassereinbahn (just 1 minute away) up to the Gampen and you cross high above the race course itself — and, with a little luck, you can watch one or two of the racers live from a bird's-eye view.
